그동안 모두들 주안에서 평안 하셨는지요?
하나님의 은혜 가운데 코스타리카 사역과 가정에 대한 소식을 나눕니다.
최근 엘살바도르에서 열린 CFCI국제 이사회 모임에 참석하여 동남 아시아, 코스타리카와 중남미 사역 현황을 발표하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 여러 나라 지도자들과 함께 선교의 비전을 나누며 하나님께서 행하시는 일을 함께 확인할 수 있었습니다.
코스타리카에서는 Gallo Pinto 마을에 새로운 교회가 세워지고 있습니다. 남가주 동신교회 헌금으로 처음으로 개신교 교회가 개척 되었습니다.
작은 공동체이지만 복음의 빛이 퍼져가고 있으며, 지역 주민들을 위한 귀한 예배처가 마련되고 있어 감사드립니다.
한편, 인디안 마을 빼해교회를 섬기는 말쎌로 목사님의 동생이 불의한 일로 감옥에 가게 되는 어려운 일이 있었습니다. 교회와 가족들이 큰 충격 가운데 있지만, 하나님께서 위로와 공의를 베풀어 주시도록 기도를 부탁드립니다.
또한 Kairos 여성 마약 갱생원 사역에서는 치료를 마친 자매들이 자녀들과 함께 새로운 삶을 시작할 수 있도록 작은 집을 건축하기 시작했습니다. 회복된 삶이 다시 무너지지 않도록 돕는 매우 중요한 사역입니다. 하나님께서 필요한 재정과 일꾼들을 보내주시도록 기도해 주십시오.
가정 소식도 함께 전합니다:
요셉 & 알리 가족은 한 달간의 유럽 여행을 잘 마치고 건강하게 돌아왔습니다.
임신 5개월 된 며느리와 15개월된 아들 노아를 데리고 한달간 여행은 조금
무리였습니다. 2년전 결혼후 바쁜 병원일로 신혼 여행을 못가서 이번에 다녀오게 되었습니다. 또한 감사하게 첯 손녀를 10월에 보게되었습니다. 하나님께 모든 감사와 영광을 드립니다.
리처드, 에스더 가족은 괌 기지에서 8월 말까지 복무한 후, 스페인의 Rota 해군기지로 이동하게 됩니다. 며느리가 전도사로 섬기고 있는 괌 온누리교회에서도 6월 말에 사역을 마무리하게 됩니다.
토니와 민정 이는 오키나와에서 텍사스 달라스로 6월 초 이사하게 되었으며, 새로운 환경 속에서도 하나님의 인도하심을 기대하고 있습니다.
요나단도 맡겨진 자리에서 성실하게 직장 생활을 이어가고 있어 감사한 마음입니다. 한국 출장으로 6월 중순까지 Salesforce 여의도 지점에서 근무하며 일본 방문후 뉴욕 으로 귀국 합니다, 부모의 기도는 속히 배우자를 만날수 있도록 간구 하고 있습니다, 함께 기도 부탁 드리겠습니다.
건강을 위한 기도도 부탁드립니다.
윤목사는 무릎 파열로 인해 수술이 필요한 상황이며, 사라 사모는 골다공증 치료를 위해 앞으로 1년 동안 매달 주사를 맞게 되었습니다.
7월에 방문하는 단기 선교팀 방문후에 수술을 할수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
육신의 연약함 가운데서도 주님께서 힘 주시고 회복시켜 주시도록 기도해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

Dear Beloved Co-workers in Ministry,
Greetings to you in the name of the Lord.
We would like to share some updates regarding our ministry in Costa Rica and our family life, all by the grace of God.
Recently, I attended the CFCI International Board Meeting held in El Salvador, where I had the opportunity to present on the current status of our ministry in Costa Rica and throughout Central and South America.
Sharing our vision for missions alongside leaders from various nations, we were able to witness together the mighty works God is performing.
In Costa Rica, a new church is currently being established in the village of Gallo Pinto. Thanks to a generous offering from LA Dongshin Church, this marks the very first time a Protestant church has been planted in this community.
Although it is a small community, the light of the Gospel is spreading, and we are deeply grateful that a precious place of worship is being provided for the local residents.
Meanwhile, we have faced a difficult situation involving Pastor Marcelo—who serves at the Peje Church in an indigenous village—as his younger brother was unjustly imprisoned due to a wrongful incident. While the church and the family remain in deep shock, we ask for your prayers that God may grant them comfort and bring about justice.
Additionally, through our ministry at the Kairos Women's Drug Rehabilitation Center, we have begun constructing a small house to help sisters who have completed their treatment start a new life alongside their children. This is a vital ministry aimed at ensuring that their newly recovered lives do not crumble once again. Please pray that God will provide the necessary financial resources and workers to complete this project.
We would also like to share some family news:
Joseph’s family has returned safely and in good health after successfully completing a month-long trip across Europe.
Traveling for a month with a daughter-in-law who is five months pregnant and a 15-month-old grandson, Noah, was admittedly a bit strenuous. However, we are filled with immense joy and gratitude as we look forward to welcoming our first granddaughter this coming October.
Richard’s family will continue serving at the base in Guam until the end of August, after which they will be transferred to the Naval Base Rota in Spain. Our daughter-in-law will also be concluding her ministry at Guam Onnuri Church,where she has been serving as an evangelist at the end of June.
Tony and Min jung moved from Okinawa to Dallas, Texas, in early June, and they are looking forward to experiencing God's guidance in their new environment.
We are also grateful that Jonathan continues to work faithfully and diligently in the position entrusted to him. We ask for your prayers that he may soon meet a spouse.
We also ask for your prayers regarding our health.
Pastor Yoon requires surgery due to a torn knee ligament, and Sarah has begun a treatment regimen for osteoporosis that involves receiving monthly injections for the next year.
Please pray that Pastor Yoon’s surgery can be scheduled to take place after the short-term mission team—which is visiting in early July—has departed.
We would be deeply grateful if you would pray that, even amidst our physical frailties, the Lord would grant us strength and bring about our full recovery.

1. Pray that we may be granted the wisdom and guidance to faithfully and loyally carry out the pioneering ministry in Asia (CFCI) to the very end.
2. Pray that God will grant us safety in our travels and protect our health as we continue our ministry and overseas schedules.
3. Pray for the spiritual and physical strength of our family—that God’s grace and peace may continually surround, protect, and bless us.
4. Pray that the process of transferring the administration of our Mission Center proceeds smoothly and is guided by God's grace.
5. Pray for a successful outcome and a speedy recovery following Pastor Yoon’s knee surgery; likewise, pray for positive results and a full restoration of health for Sarah as she undergoes treatment for osteoporosis.
6. We ask for your prayers that the construction of the newly established Gallo Pinto Church may be completed quickly, and that the remaining funds needed for the project may be fully secured.
